The Omega Workshops: Post Impressionist Living

Brief:

Charleston’s Autumn 2019 exhibition was a marquee event running from September until January 2020. It featured a collection of works (furniture, ceramics, printed fabrics and textiles) by the Omega Workshop, an avant-garde collective of artists and designers who sought to dissolve the boundaries between fine art and home living in the early part of the 20th Century.

Housed at Charleston’s three new galleries, The Omega Workshops: Post-Impressionist Living needed to be promoted to a culturally literate audience of both regular Charleston attendees and new visitors.

Response:

The branding for the exhibition represented a shift towards typographic and stylistic modernity that Charleston was known for.

Result:

The Omega Workshops has achieved attendance figures in excess of predictions, and has eclipsed visitor stats for all fine art shows to date.
